This work was made while I was volunteering at a reconstruction assistance housing facility in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, and I photographed the victims I met, the traces of someone else, and the trash cans in the facility. I used a projector to project these images onto the smoke, and then took more pictures of the images projected onto the smoke. This work looks like a false image, but it is a real image that reflects the characteristics of the smoke.

この作品は私が兵庫県神戸市にある復興支援住宅でボランティア活動を行っているときに、出会った被災者、誰かの痕跡や施設内のゴミ箱を撮影した。私は撮影したそれらをプロジェクターで煙に投影し、そして煙に映し出された像をさらに撮影した。この作品は虚像のように見えるが、煙の特徴が反映されている実像だ。
