I had been worked on the theme of “the group and the individual”. One may gather together under the same purpose or same concern and sometime we even gather unconsciously depending on the environment. But those who would gather consider themselves as an individual in the group. Despite the fact the “individual” is an absolute entity, being looked at by “others” , it is often recognized as a group, in other words amount or numbers, under the generalization of one’ s value and orientation. I had come to realize that the gathered individual is recognized differently by oneself or by others.

Recently, while I’ve been producing my work, I felt the variety should have been developed because a lot of individual gather, but I think the variety was replaced by uniformity in my country. A process before leading to this result should have included many opinions and trials (variety), but it inclines toward a result of one without choice (uniformity). And I felt I have accepted obedient so, that the result is natural. I felt that variety was replaced by uniformity. I think the process and the reason of becoming uniformity will come to the surface by gathering the source of variety.
